Founder's note
I started Riddo because I was tired of not trusting the process.
A few years ago, I tried to convert some crypto to cash and ended up in a DM with a stranger, sending screenshots back and forth and hoping the rate we agreed on would still be the same when they paid me.
It worked that time. But I remember thinking there had to be a better way. At the time, this was how a lot of people in West Africa were trading. Too much back and forth. Too much uncertainty. And too much trust placed in people you did not know. So we decided to build the platform we wished we had. One where you see your rate before you trade, know exactly where your transaction is at every step, and can trade gift cards and crypto without the usual stress. That is why we built Riddto.
We are still a small team, and we still pay attention to what our customers say. Every message, complaint, and suggestion helps us make Riddo better. If something about your experience does not feel right, tell us. We are listening.
